EWORKS Employment Solutions and Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative have formed a partnership to help Indigenous job seekers find and prepare for work.
From September 19, Eworks will provide tailored and specific employment assistance services from an additional office location at Goolum Goolum.
“Eworks is excited to be providing additional and complimentary employment support services to Goolum Goolum members that will assist them to become job ready,” chief executive Julie-Anne Clarke said.
“The partnership is a perfect match for Eworks, as we share the mutual goal and vision of supporting and advocating for Aboriginal people within our local communities.”
The partnership will provide job seekers with skills in resume writing, interview preparation and presentation, confidence building and public speaking.
Under the partnership, Eworks will deliver employment assistance from Goolum Goolum for its members once a month.
“This collaboration highlights that by focusing on the skills and attributes that Aboriginal job seekers require we can develop innovative services to ensure all individuals have access to vocational support,” Ms Clarke said.
“We have responded to the needs of Goolum Goolum and their members and look forward to developing a strong working relationship.”
